RECENT WORK

Demo

This high impact compilation reel, cut to music, showcases a majority of my work.  If itÕs in here, I cut it, produced it, designed it, composed it, shot it, or all of the above.  The runtime is 2:14.  (22.6MB)

Belmont Stakes 2008

(editing, animation)

The following segments aired on ESPN or ABC during the Belmont Stakes 2008.  I edited, composited and finished everything included in these short segments.  I used Avid Media Composer and After Effects to create these segments.

Segment5-4

Segment1-10A

USSF Command Video

(editing, compositing, graphics, audio post)

I am proud to have worked with our US Navy on this one. ItÕs been a while since I have done a government video and I had a great time learning more about the Navy folk.  I didnÕt even mention how the Army was going to beat the Navy at their next football game.

It Hurts to Be a Dentist

(directing, dp, editing, color correction, music production)

Once again Owen Egerton wrote this power ballad but this time in our studio.  My job was to make music sing and create a video that would go viral all in just a few days.  This video was produced for Dadlabs.com and was featured on Yahoo.com in the video section.

Austinite of the Year

Bike Rap

(directing, dp, editing, color correction, music production)

Owen Egerton wrote this little ditty on garage band and I took it to the next level.  My job was to make a music video in a few days and this is the result.  This Rap style video was produced for Dadlabs.com and was featured on YahooÕs Video page.  ItÕs not for the faint at heart.

ESPN MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

Joey Porter

Joey Porter is one of the best players in the NFL and can run with the best on camera all the same. When my producer told me this guy was a great interview I knew the hardest part of editing my first feature for MNF would be cutting it down to 1:30. What did I do? I did the editing, effects, and audio post. (18.4MB)

Tiki Barber

Tiki may retire but thereÕs no doubt heÕll be around.  This cribs style story takes a trip through Tiki BarberÕs New York Apartment.  I edited, did the effects and audio post. TRT 1:57(34.5 MB)

Seattle Fish Catch

What happens when you take five wide receivers to the local fish market? ItÕs a fish catching challenge that shows who can catch more than just the pigskin.  Things I did include editing, audio post, and effects. TRT 2:10. (37.3MB)

DADLABS.COM

When IÕm not freelancing I work with a company called Dadlabs.com as their head of production or jack of all production trades guy.  We are a startup website with little money but a lot of heart.  The links below are a few examples of what IÕve done since I started working with the  Dadlabs.com crew back in June 2007.  At Dadlabs.com I do everything from production coordination to shooting to editing the final piece.

FILM

Post House (trailer), Post House (5 min cutdown), Post House(35 min)

What happens when the worldÕs worst production house lands a multimillion-dollar ad campaign?  You have your choice of watching the trailer, a 5 min version, or the whole thing.  I co-wrote, co-directed, produced, edited, shot, composed the music, and even starred in this pilot sitcom shot with the Sony FW900 HDCAM camera.  The runtime of the show is 35 minutes.  The trailer is 1:00. So far Post House has been screened at four festivals.

Street Pong

This 6-minute film was selected as a finalist in the 2nd annual Asian Film Festival sponsored by MTV in New York.  If you like mockumentaries youÕll love Street Pong.  ItÕs Fight Club meets Ping-Pong. I co-produced, edited, shot, and played Johnny Pong in this film. (30.3MB)
